Partners In Housing works with dozens of non-profits in our community to help homeless families, and there are hundreds of organizations in Colorado Springs providing services to homeless and low income households. 

Below are links to just a few key non-profits that provide services to homeless and near homeless households.

Emergency Housing for Homeless Families & Individuals

Interfaith Hospitality Network - Housing in churches and self-sufficiency services for homeless families with children.

R.J. Montgomery Center - Emergency shelter for homeless individuals and families, run by the Salvation Army.

TESSA - Emergency housing in a Safehouse environment for those fleeing domestic violence.

Domestic Violence Assistance

TESSA- Helps families and individuals fleeing domestic violence by providing shelter and services.

Transitional Housing & Permanent Supportive Housing

Homeward Pikes Peak - Transitional housing in a sober living environment for chronically homeless men or women recovering from addiction to drugs and/or alcohol (these programs were previously operated by Harbor House).

Housing First - Long-term housing and case management for chronically homeless singles who are duel-diagnosed with both drug or alcohol addiction and mental illness.

Salvation Army - Various transitional housing programs for men, women, and families. 

Springs Rescue Mission New Life Program - Faith-based transitional housing program for single men overcoming homelessness and addiction.  

Affordable Housing

Greccio Housing- Provides rental housing and basic supportive services to low-income families.

Habitat for Humanity - Provides low-income families the chance for homeownership through sweat equity.

Rocky Mountain Community Land Trust - Helps low and moderate income families achieve homeownership through the Community Land Trust model.

Emergency Assistance (Rent, Utilities, Food, Clothes, etc.)

Colorado Springs Utilities - The LEAP and COPE programs can help low-income households with utility expenses.

Ecumenical Social Ministries- Emergency rent and utility assistance for households in central Colorado Springs.

El Paso County Dept. of Human Services - Various government-funded assistance programs including medical help, food stamps, and the TANF program.  Also provides government assistance programs for expectant mothers, persons with disabilities, and households needing affordable child care. 

Marian House Soup Kitchen - Provides a free hot lunch to anyone in need, 365 days a year.  Also provides rent assistance, help obtaining official documents, housing referrals, employment searches, and more.
Mercy's Gate (formerly Northern Churches Care) - Emergency rent and utility assistance for households in northern Colorado Springs.

Pikes Peak Community Action Agency - Emergency rent and utility assistance for households in Colorado Springs. 

Salvation Army - Emergency rent, utility, food, and clothes assistance for households in Colorado Springs.

Westside Cares - Emergency rent and utility assistance for households in western Colorado Springs.

Medical Services

AspenPointe - Formerly Pikes Peak Mental Health, AspenPointe Health Services assists with the mental health care and substance abuse needs of children, youth, adults and families.

Mission Medical Clinic- Medical services in a Christian environment, for low-income adults who reside in El Paso or Teller County, who are without any form of health insurance and who suffer from one or more chronic illnesses.  Dental services provided to Mission Medical patients.

Peak Vista Community Health Centers - Provides primary care services to low-income, uninsured and underinsured working families (as well as others with access barriers) within the Pikes Peak Region through 19 outpatient centers.  Provides medical, dental, and behavioral health services.

SET Medical Clinic - Several clinics provide basic health care to uninsured, under-insured and low income adults and children.  Services include treatment of minor illnesses, hygiene products for the homeless, a limited number of school physicals, and immunizations.  No dental, ob/gyn, or mental health services are provided.

Southern Colorado AIDS Project - AIDS service organization in southern Colorado providing HIV care, support and prevention services.

Partners in Housing gives homeless families with children the hope and opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency through supportive services and transitional housing
