Discovery Canyon Snuggle Project

Partners in Housing was recently the recipient of a special project coordinated by Discovery Canyon Elementary School students from Ms. Hammarquist’s class.

As part of class, the students who were learning about the effects of poverty and becoming homeless decided to create the “Snuggle Project”. The students donated several dozen wonderful, handmade blankets for Partners in Housing families! They did all the work themselves (with a little help from their parents and teachers) from raising the funds needed to purchase the material, to spending hours of their time making the blankets.
