With support form Partners in Housing’s Family Self-Sufficiency Program, families have the opportunity to better their lives, change their family’s narrative, and open doors for a brighter future. With your support, these strides are made possible.

“I want to start off by saying how much Partners in Housing has meant to me. I came into this program coming form a very tough spot in my life. I had to start fresh with two kids, just coming out of an abusive marriage, where I wasn’t allowed to work. We were in the middle of a pandemic and I didn’t know how I was going to be able to move forward. Partners in Housing gave me a place to heal mentally and empowered me by giving me tools that I will use for the rest of my life, as well as support that I will never forget.” – Recent mother in the Family Self-Sufficiency Program

Enterprise Zone Program Changes

Effective January 1st, 2023, the Enterprise Zone (EZ) Tax Credit was replaced with Colorado’s Homeless Contribution Tax Credit (HCTC). This is a new tax credit program and the first ever homeless-specific tax credit program. The Colorado Homeless Contribution Tax Credit provides a 25% state income tax credit to Colorado taxpayers who contribute to eligible homelessness-related projects within Colorado. Partners in Housing’s Family Self-Sufficiency Program is an approved project. This new tax credit replaces the El Paso County Enterprise Zone donations for Partners in Housing. We can no longer process EZ gifts. Gifts made to Partners in Housing of $250+ are eligible for the new Homeless Contribution Tax Credit, including cumulative gifts that total $250+ by year-end.
